
AHBA 2020 Gun Raffle: Official Rules
- Raffle tickets are available for purchase from Aberdeen Home Builder Association members (AHBA), the AHBA office and at Ken’s ProShop in Aberdeen, SD
- Each ticket cost $50 – cash or check payable to Aberdeen Home Builders Association
- Valid tickets will be paid and include all information on the ticket stub: Full name; phone number, email address & who sold it (AHBA member’s name)
- Tickets sold by Members: The member who
sold the ticket will text or email
the ticket number & purchaser information immediately to 605.225.2055 | aberdeenhba@gmail.com
- The timestamp of the text or the email will be listed as the official time of the ticket sale
- Tickets sold at Ken’s ProShop in Aberdeen, SD will keep a dated and timed list of sold tickets
- Member MUST return payment to the AHBA office within 48 hours of the sale
- Drawing will not be held until funds are
received in the office
- If funds are not received by the AHBA office within 48 hours of the sale, that ticket may be moved down the line until funds are received
- This may cause that ticket to be moved into the next raffle round
- All official records will be kept by the Aberdeen Home Builders Association office
- Each ticket is only valid for 1 gun raffle round – the 21st ticket begins a new raffle round
- One individual may purchase more than one ticket at a time – verify if the purchaser wants all multiple chances in a single raffle round or if each chance belongs in a different raffle round
- AHBA will call and/or email all 20 ticket
holders of each raffle round at least 24 hours prior to invite them to watch
the Facebook Live Drawing on the Aberdeen Home Builders Association’s Facebook
Page and to announce when and where the Facebook Live drawing will take place
- Ticket holders do not need to be present to win
- Current raffle round ticket holder’s first names will be announced on Facebook during the live drawing announcement
- Raffle winner’s full name will be announced on Facebook during the live drawing announcement
- Winners will be contacted by telephone
and/or email within two (2) hours of being announced that raffle round’s winner
- Five (5) attempts will be made to contact winner – if no contact is made within 10 days of AHBA first attempt to contact winner, a new winner will be selected by random from the original raffle round
- All winners will choose any one (1) of the ten (10) guns listed on the purchased ticket and proceed with paperwork directly with Ken’s Superfair Foods ProShop in Aberdeen, SD
- Must be 18 or older to obtain a rifle or shotgun prize
- Must be 21 or older to obtain handgun or pistol prize
- If any winner is unable to obtain the gun prize, no cash value or other prize will be given
- Gun prize will only be awarded to the ticket purchaser – Government Issued ID required
- Final determination of eligibility & official rules will be held by AHBA and Ken’s Superfair Foods ProShop in Aberdeen, SD
